TAKE A ‘QLICK’ LOOK AT AUSTRALIA’S MOST EXPENSIVE PROPERTY

If you have a spare $100million+ laying around, you might be upset to know that you have just missed out on the opportunity to splash that cash on a three-floor apartment in Sydney’s CBD.

 An apartment that, despite not even being built yet, just sold for a cool $140million, becoming Australia’s most expensive home ever sold.

 The previous residential property sale record? $100million. So, it’s fair to say this one has smashed that record out of the ballpark.

 Here are the QLICK facts about the property:

-       Named a ‘super-apartment’, the home tops the tallest tower in Barangaroo’s One Sydney Harbour development.

-       The super-apartment has two sections – a two-storey penthouse with a “sub-penthouse apartment” taking up the floor below.

-       The property includes:

o   nine bedrooms;

o   a private pool;

o   spa;

o   gym on the roof; and

o   a ‘significant’ main bedroom which will be “bigger than most homes” according to the developer, Lendlease.

-       The home is located in the exclusive Sydney eastern suburb of Point Piper, fronting Sydney Harbour, just opposite Taronga Park Zoo.

 While the buyer is unnamed, the developer Lendlease shares that the person is a local to the Sydney area.

 Now THAT will be some house warming for sure.
